Working together to deliver the 14-19 education and skills programme:

Delivered as part of the DCSF's 14-19 reform programme:

14-19 Leadership and Management Development Programme
Leaders and managers of 14-19 consortia everywhere are facing the challenges of working together in new ways to implement Diplomas collaboratively. LSIS and NCSL can support you in this by providing a far-reaching and flexible programme of support. This new programme has evolved from our offer of support to Gateway 1 consortia.

Support for leaders - from gateway to delivery and beyond

Our new approach builds on those features of last year's programme that you told us you valued most.

  • For those of you in Gateway 2, congratulations on your success - we look forward to working with you. For the first time, you will be able to draw on the long-term support of your own Consortium Leadership Consultant (CLC). The role of the CLC is to get to know you and your consortium's needs, to co-design a leadership and management professional development plan and package of support with you and to help you to access a range of services. Your first meeting with your CLC is at your 'Professional Development Conversation'. This will be followed by further visits in autumn, spring and summer.
Consortium Leads can find their CLC here.
  • For those of you implementing Diplomas in 2010 and beyond we offer the same range of services, though the coaching and consultancy offer is only available for groups and not individuals.
  • For those of you who are starting to deliver Diplomas in September 2008 you can continue to access support through the coming year.

All the services are described in our brochure:
